El historial migratorio familiar

Las aves migran cada año para trasladarse a áreas con más recursos o mejores hábitats de anidación. Los humanos también migran. La migración significa el movimiento de una región a otra. ¡Hoy investigarás y mapearás la historia de migración de tu propia familia usando Google Maps!

Qué necesitas

• Computadora portátil / teléfono
• Google Maps

Qué hacer

Paso 1 - Abre Google Maps. Haz clic en el botón de menú y selecciona "Tus lugares".

Paso 2 - Haz clic en "Guardado" y oprime el botón "+" para agregar una lista nueva. Puedes llamarla "Historial de migración de mi familia" o cualquier otra cosa que desees.

Paso 3 - Ahora, puedes editar tu lista nueva agregando todos los lugares en los que ha vivido tu familia. Incluso puedes agregar notas en cada uno de los destinos. Pregúntale a tu familia dónde vivían antes de tu hogar actual. ¿Y sus padres?

Paso 4 - Siempre puedes agregar nuevas ubicaciones buscándolas en Google Maps y guardándolas en la categoría correspondiente.

Paso 5 - Una vez que hayas guardado todas las ubicaciones, puedes hacer clic en menu, your places, el historial de migración de mi familia y ver qué tan lejos ha viajado tu familia a lo largo del tiempo. ¿Qué tal si imprimes este nuevo mapa y trazas líneas para seguir el viaje migratorio de tu familia?

Family Migration Story

Birds migrate every year to move to areas with more resources or better nesting habitats. Humans migrate too. Migration means movement from one region to another. Today you will be investigating and mapping your own family's migration story using Google Maps!

What you need

• Laptop/Phone
• Google Maps

What to do

Step 1 - Open Google Maps. Click on the menu button and select “Your Places”.

Step 2 - Click on “Saved” and click on the “+” button to add a new list. You can call it “My Family’s Migration History” or anything else you like.

Step 3 - Now, you can edit your new List by adding all the places that your family lived in. You can even add notes to each of the destinations.Ask your family where they lived before your current home. What about their parents?

Step 4 - You can always add new locations by searching them on Google Maps and saving them in the relevant category.

Step 5 - Once you’ve saved all the locations, you can click the menu, your places, my family’s migration history, and check out how far your family has traveled over time! What about printing this new map and tracing lines to follow your family’s migrating journey?
